KNT Group takes part in Russian congress on catalysis II
The second Russian Congress on Catalysis "RUSCATALYSIS" was held on October, 2-5, 2014 in a conference halls of Volga Cliff Resort (Volga Cliff village, Samara region). The Congress was organized by Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS) (Novosibirsk), Samara State Technical University (Samara), Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow), Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis RAS (Moscow), Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry RAS (Moscow) and Institute of Hydrocarbons Processing SB RAS (Omsk) with assistance and participation of the Government of Samara region and Nonprofit Partnership "National catalytic society".
The Congress "RUSCATALYSIS" is the largest all-Russian scientific event, which is held every three years in order to discuss state of affairs in all fields of catalysis, to reveal urgent tasks for research, to develop and to implement it in industry subsequently, including such priorities as modernization and innovation-driven growth of Russian chemical industry and deep processing of its hydrocarbon resources.
Experts and the Director of ISCPC Ltd., Bodryy Alexander Borisovich, took part in the round table discussion "Industrial production of catalysts in Russia" and made a report "Opportunities of KNT Group to provide Russian refineries with cracking catalyst". The report describes achievements of the company in development and production of granular and microspherical cracking catalysts and experience of its industrial operation in Russian and foreign plants.
Experts of the company praised this conference highly and plan to take an active part in the organization of the next Russian Congress on Catalysis III, which will be held in the city of Ufa in 2017.
